I was just made aware of a beekeeping symposium to be held this Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Kankakee Community College. It is put on by the U of I Extension office. I know it is short notice, but if you are close and have ever aspired to keep bees it would be a good use of your time. There are beginning and advanced classes, so you have a choice.
