About Bioneers and this Conference

We called a last minute reunion of MIdwest Permaculture PDC grads while Becky and I were in St.Paul for the Bioneers Conference. Here are the folks who were able to make it.

This is the 21st Anniversary of the annual Bioneers Conference, held in San Rafael, CA, which attracts over 3,500 people from around the world to hear global perspectives that illuminate the interdependence of life on Earth and propose solutions to current issues; solutions grounded in four billion years of evolutionary intelligence.

In addition to those attending the originating Bioneers Conference in California, over 10,000 people view the featured plenary speakers from 21 other locations in the U.S. and Canada. The Northland Bioneers Conference, in Minneapolis/St.Paul, is one of these authorized events, where 500+ people who want everyone to benefit as organizations and individuals adopt new habits to support a sustainable future experience: the national plenary presentations via DVD, hands on workshops, 50+ exhibits and facilitated solutions-focused dialogues. A wide range of ages, experiences, roles, life circumstances, economic abilities, viewpoints, cultural traditions and faiths are essential to bringing new solutions to focus. This conference hosts a space for all to learn, listen, and contribute to actionable outcomes which will emerge over the weekend.

Great to see linking between Midwest Permaculture ( my PDC alma mater) and PRI cold climate (much closer to me). I will be there, fresh (and still jet lagging from) off the PRI Australia internship experience. My head is spinning with possibilities. Looking forward to networking and brainstorming. I am preparing pics and videos to share.

So sorry I won't be able to make it, but I'll be in Northern California that weekend. What a great idea, Bill! Next year, for sure. Bioneers sounds like it will be a special weekend of reconnecting with old friends and learning from new ones. Have fun, learn, and contribute. XOXO

Fascinating ! The Bioneers is a great get together. We won't be able to make it but would like to encourage any of you in the Minnesota/ western Wisconsin area to do so as it will be worthwhile. Bryce Ruddock
